Day in LA

Whew! Today was a loooong day. It's a little after 11pm and we've back at the CBU dorms for a little bit. Today we spent the first part of our day at the Los Angeles Food Bank. We spent a couple hours there sorting through several pallets of food for distribution to those who are in need. The LA Food Bank is the same place that Simon Cowell recently visited on the American Idol Gives Back night. It was a great time there and a lot of HARD WORK.

Then we headed over to Olvera Street for lunch and some down time. My comment: it was warm.

After Olvera Street, we went over to the LA Mission where the youth choir performed. The crowd's response was great. We had several there who indicated a decision to accept Christ.

The night concluded with jump-starting a van with a dead battery (mine), driving home, and grabbing some late-night fast food.
